As the elections are fast approaching the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has used Ahinda and Lingayat weapons against BJP. But the saffron brigade is all set to use OBC bill against Congress, reported Kannada Prabha.
The bill proposing Constitutional status to the Other Backward Commission was tabled at the Central Government and is not yet approved. It has been passed in the Lok Sabha but has been stalled in Rajya Sabha due to certain questions raised by the Congress. BJP wants to use that to create trouble to Congress at both Gujarat and Karnataka.
The BJP is also planning to capitalise on the proposal of internal reservation and increasing the cream of facilities limit from Rs 6 lakhs to Rs 8 lakhs. Siddaramaih belongs to a backward community of Kuruba.
The Congress Party in State is depending on Dalits, Backward and Minority (Ahind) and to propagate that Congress is creating the blockade for OBC bill is the strategy that BJP is planning to employ say sources. In the State already incharge Prakash Javadekar, Leader of Opposition K S Eshwarappa and others have started attacking Congress on this.
