BJP is communalist, JD(S) is boastful: CM gets into poll speech mood
- BJP is communalist and JD(S) is boastful. Do not support both for any reason, said CM.

- If BSY is really concerned about the farmers should actually gherao the Parliament.
- BBMP implementing all pending welfare measures, for 2016-17 funds would be released shortly.

For the overall development of all classes elect Congress again” said the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a typical poll campaign spirit. He was speaking at the BBMP program organised to distribute benefits of various welfare measures to beneficiaries on Tuesday, reported Kannada Prabha.
BJP is not finding any fault with out Party, hence they are instigating communal riots. If BJP has scissors we have needle thread. If BJP cuts the social fabric we will stitch it right back, he said. Prime Minister Modi says Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas, ( with everyone, progress to everyone) but he is pushing back the minorities. What kind of ‘Sab Ka Saath’ if you include by choice? BJP is cheating itself by doing this, he criticised.
Narendra Modi’s government is standing on series of lies. When coming to power he said he would get black money from foreign nations within 100 days. He said he would credit Rs 15 lakhs into each one’s account. Not even 15 paise has been credited. Modi government is good at propaganda but not in performance, he said.
The Congress government has fulfilled 155 of the 165 promised during elections. The previous BJP Government did not do anything. Now, in the pretext of improving Dalits, they are going to houses of Dalits and eating hotel tiffin. The anti-minority BJP government had sanctioned only Rs 85 crores for minorities welfare whereas we have spent Rs 2,750 crores. For Dalit welfare we have spent four times more than the previous BJP government.
B S Yeddyurappa had said that he would gherao Vidhana Soudha if we did not waive farm loans. Now we have waived farm loans, the Central Government is yet to waive. During UPA Government the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had waived Rs 78,000 crore farm loan. Now Modi is not uttering a single word in this regard. If B S Yeddyurappa who urged for farm loan waiver, is really concerned about the farmers should actually gherao the Parliament, CM said.
The JD(S) is not in the least bit concerned about the minorities. They do not want any Party to get clear majority. They pass time by always associating with some Party. They are opportunists. They have no concern for social justice and are boastful. The minorities must be careful about them. Supporting JD(S) is like supporting BJP from behind, he said.
The people must once again bless the Party that is attempting to make the State hunger free. People do not forget those who provide food, water and shelter. He requested the people to bless George once again.
The BBMP had finally decided to distribute the benefits to various beneficiaries after a gap of 2 years. The Chief Minister distributed a total of Rs 92.42 crore pending welfare measures for 2015-16. They included symbolic release of welfare measures for 3,498 beneficiaries at a program in Kammanahalli ward, Sarvajna Nagara constituency.
The government sanctions funds for backward, unemployed SC, ST youth and students, for distribution of auto, cab, tailoring machine etc. For the past 2 years it was held up and now BBMP has decided to implement all pending welfare measures. For the year 2016-17 action would be taken release the funds shortly, the CM said.
