After Gauri Lankesh its me says CMs media advisor Dinesh Amin Mattu

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's media advisor Dinesh Amin Mattu has claimed that he could be the next target of RSS after journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh. In saying so, the former journalist has only openly claimed that his life was under threat.

Addressing a gathering at a seminar organised on social reformer Brahmashri Narayan Guru in Mangaluru on Sunday, Dinesh claimed that he might not live longer and he would be the next target of RSS, after Gauri Lankesh. "At a recent meeting of RSS, there was a discussion of how to silence me. The meeting was attended by Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. I have been alerted by the intelligence sleuths on this," Mattu claimed. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat is the RSS strongman in Dakshina Kannada.

Dinesh Amin Mattu went on to say that the "We are living in one of the worst phases of our lives. Yesterday, it was Gauri Lankesh, today, it could be me and tomorrow one of you could be the target." "I'm not worried about the death. For, death is certain. But I do not wish to die without achieving my dreams," Dinesh Amin Mattu said.

In fact, after Gauri Lankesh's murder, Dinesh Amin Mattu is not the first person to claim threat to his life. Nidumamidi Swamiji too had claimed that his life could be in danger, as he was vocal about the Leftist ideology. There were a few others too. With Chief Minister promising to protect those who feel their life was under threat, it is to be seen whether Dinesh Amin Mattu would seek for one.
