Fatal accident at Ramanagar kills 5 on the spot Swift car they were travelling in collided with a tempo, car is completely damaged Five friends were returning from their visit to a temple
The fatal accident occurred at Kanakapur taluk Hukkenagodanadoddi. The car has been completely damaged. The Kanakapur Rural Police has visited the place and are inspecting. The number plate of the Swift Desire car is KA 01 AF 7190. The victims are said to be returning to Bengaluru from Sangam.
One of the deceased has been identified as Raju of Vidyaranyapura, other two are Chandru and Anil, Kumar and Santhosh. The five friends had been a to a temple at Kabbalu in Kanakapur. After the temple visit, the friends had some good time together and were returning to Bengaluru at night. Their Swift car was also speeding towards Bengaluru when it hit a speeding canter, moving from Bengaluru.
The effect of the collision was such that all the five in the Swift car and one more person in the canter died on the spot. Mangled remains of the car is a witness to the fatal accident.
