20 BJP MLAs to join Congress says KPCC President G Parameshwara

FollowWith all parties in Karnataka gearing up for Assembly elections to be held in the next year, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dr G Parameshwara has made an important statement that 20 BJP MLAs are ready to join Congress.
In Karnataka BJP, Congress and JD(S)Â parties are trying to coax the leaders of other parties to join their party for election purposes. After some Congress leaders joined BJP and JD(S), now the KPCC President Parameshwara has said that BJP MLAs are in touch with the party and are ready to join them.
"At least 20 BJP MLAs are constantly in touch with Congress leaders. They have expressed their willingness to join Congress. But the party has not decided on the MLAs to be invited to the party," he said.
Speaking about allegations of differences between him and CM Siddaramaiah, Parameshwara said, "We both are working in tandem with each other for seven years now. There are no differences between us," he said.
Lashing out at the Opposition, he said that the BJP should first try to sort out the differences among their leaders and stop worrying about other parties.
