15-year-old girl raped by 59-year-old man who gave her Rs 100 with death threat

FollowThe High Court has refused to grant bail to a 59-year-old man from Kodagu, who is charged with raping a 15-year-old girl.
The girl's family had filed a case in this regard on April 3, 2017, and the High Court heard the bail plea by the accused 59-year-old Pullangada Bheemaiah.
The court observed that the girl has clearly stated that he forced himself on her and sexually abused her.
However, the accused had applied for a bail stating that the girl had sex consented to have sex with him and she did not have any injuries in her private parts, so it is not rape. He had also said that the case was filed after four days of the incident.
The court slammed him and said that all these points would be taken for discussion in the further hearings, but as the girl has clearly stated that she was sexually abused and it was forced, it refused to grant him bail.

The court also said that (based on the complaint) that the accused had threatened her with dire consequences and given her life threats and that might be the reason for the delay in filing the case.
What happened that day?
Accused Bheemaiah runs a grocery shop, where the girl used to visit to buy groceries. He became friends with her and even gave his mobile and asked her to feed her and her friend's numbers so that she could use it anytime.
Once her brother saw her feeding number into the man's phone and had reprimanded her for that. The scared girl went to the shop and told him not to give her his phone.
