A couple who own over Rs 100 crore wealth and a 3 year old daughter have decided to renounce their life and embrace Sanyasa, reported Kannada Prabha.

Sumit Rathod (34) and Anamika couple hail from a wealthy industrialist family in Nimach.  Sumit has a Diploma in Business Management from London and Anamika is an engineer. They were married 4 years ago and have a 3 year old daughter.  They have decided to renounce worldly life and embrace Jain sacrament on Sept 23, reported Kannada Prabha.

They said that since the child was 8 months old they had started thinking about renouncing and taking up Sanyasa. They started being celibate. They give credit to their daughter that she is a pious soul and after her birth they started the wish for sacrament. They are firm in their decision and there is no coming back despite their family and friends pleading with them to give up their decision.

Sumit was working in London after his Diploma in Business Management for two years.  As per his grandfather’s wish he returned to Nimach and started a factory that employs over 100. His brother who was working for Infosys gave up his job and joined Sumit.  They are also in exports. Anamika is a rank holder in both 10th and 12th standard.  She went on to get a degree in Engineering and had a job with Rs 10 lakh package. They got married in 2012 and Anamika gave up job after marriage. Now the couple are taking up Jain Deeksha.
