People want to know everything about Yogi Adityanath since he has surprised most Indians by becoming the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. The firebrand Hindu leader has always projected himself as a gaurakshak too.
Nandini is his favourite cow among others in the Gaushala, spread across two acres in the Gorakhpur temple premises. He has more than 500 cows in his gaushala here.
He calls every cow by name and Nandini is his favourite cow, said a man from the gaushala, speaking to Hindustan Times. According to the report in HT, the caretaker of Nandini and other cows is a Muslim.
Man Mohammed takes care of the cows since his childhood. Even his father Inayathullah was a caretaker of the cows in the gaushala. The milk from the cows here is not sold instead distributed a Prasada and used by the people to prepare ghee to be used as prasada and for worship purposes.
