The woman questioned the Railways about the purported lack of protection aboard the train in a video that has gone viral.
The woman claims that she was riding in an AC 2-tier bus when the event happened at approximately one in the morning. She said that for about thirty minutes, three males were drinking beer and using foul language while seated in an adjoining compartment. She stated that she went up to them and urged them to stop, pointing out that there were kids around, but they persisted in drinking and assaulting.
The woman also claimed in the video that there were no police officers aboard the train. She reported that after using the TTE to alert train staff about the issue, she waited for almost an hour before a police officer showed up.

The woman then took pictures of the purported gang seated in the next compartment, with what looked to be a bottle of alcohol visible next to them. She said that one of the guys had threatened to kill the children of the person who had complained about them, and she voiced anxiety for her safety.
She questioned the authorities about the purported hold-up in security support. She criticised the government and the Railroads, asking, "How serious are you regarding women's safety, really?"
The woman added that she was first informed that a policeman would join the train at Makrana, but nobody showed up. Although no police officer showed up at Degana, she stated that passengers were later informed that security officers would board.
