TMC leader arrested for party worker's murder in Birbhum

 A TMC leader got arrested for murdering a party worker in Birbhum four months ago. The court remanded him in police custody for four days. The arrested person was once the regional president of the TMC party.

Police arrested a TMC leader who was accused of killing a party worker in Birbhum four months ago. The arrested person was once the regional president of the TMC party. Now, he is one of the members of the regional committee. The court remanded him in police custody for four days.

The incident took place four months ago. A TMC worker named Shishir Baury suddenly went missing one night. He was a resident of Amjola village in Khayrashol of Birbhum. The next day, police recovered Shishir's body from the roadside in the local Ranipathara village. The family members of the deceased claimed that he was killed by Trinamool party's former regional president Kishore Mandal.

Kishore Mandal absconded after the murder happened. The police could not trace his location. After four months, police arrested the accused. Although the accused has claimed his innocence.

Malay Mukherjee, vice-president of the Trinamool Congress in Birbhum district, claimed that the BJP has conspired to weaken the party’s organization by provoking the family of the deceased to make false allegations against the Trinamool party.
