Telangana CM Revanth Reddy will return to Hyderabad from London after the Centre denied permission for his US visit. He thanked Congress leaders for their support and alleged the denial was for 'political reasons,' stating he will elaborate upon his return.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will return to Hyderabad from London on August 23 after the Centre denied permission for his proposed visit to the United States.

CM Thanks Congress for Support

CM Reddy expressed his gratitude to Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge for extending support over the issue.

He also thanked Congress leaders for backing him, describing their support as being in the "national interest."

The Chief Minister said he had completed all his scheduled meetings and engagements in London and was grateful for the overwhelming support he received over the past three days.

Alleges 'Political Reasons' for US Trip Denial

CM Reddy was scheduled to travel from London to Boston as part of his original itinerary. However, following the denial of permission by the Ministry of External Affairs, he said he would instead board a flight to Hyderabad.

He alleged that permission for his US tour was denied for "political reasons."

CM Reddy said, "He will speak in detail about all the issues surrounding the denial of permission after reaching Hyderabad." (ANI)
