Popular Tollywood comedian Venu Madhav breathes his last

Telugu actor Venu Madhav passed away at 12.20pm on September 25. 39-year-old mimicry artist-comedian, who was suffering from kidney ailments, died at a private hospital in Secunderabad, Telangana.

Secunderabad: Popular comedian from Telugu cinema Venu Madhav breathed his last at 12.20 pm at a private hospital in Secunderabad, Telangana, on September 25. He was rushed to the hospital on September 24 and was on a ventilator. 39-year-old mimicry artist-turned-actor had been suffering from kidney ailments for a while. His condition worsened in the last two days.

Venu Madhav was discharged from the hospital just last week. He was advised to undergo a liver transplant, but his health deteriorated in the next few days.

The sudden demise of the actor has left Tollywood fraternity shocked. Fans of the favourite comedian have taken to social media to convey their condolences with "RIP Venu Madhav".

Having started his career as a mimicry artist, Venu Madhav ventured into films with Sampradayam in the year 1996. The actor had performed in 200 films in Tamil and Telugu.

The yet-to-be-released Dr Paramanandaiah Students (shot in 2016) is the last film that Venu Madhav acted in.

Born in Kodad of Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh, Venu Madhav was residing in Suryapet district of Telangana. In the recent years, the actor was seen widely campaigning for Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
