New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asserted that every section of the society in Bihar has expressed its faith in the alliance’s mantra of “with all, development for all, the trust of all” and assured people that it will work with full dedication for balanced development of everybody and every region.

In a series of tweets in Hindi, PM Modi said that "Bihar has taught the world the first lesson in democracy. Once again, Bihar has told the world how democracy is strengthened. A record number of poor, deprived and women of Bihar have voted and given their decisive mandate for development."

He further said that "Every voter in Bihar has clearly stated that his priority is only and only development. The blessings given to the NDA's good governance again after 15 years clearly shows what are dreams of Bihar and are its aspiration."

“People from all walks in Bihar have reposed faith in NDA’s slogan of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas and sabka vishwas’. The brothers and sisters of the state exercised their franchise in record numbers showing that they have to play a major role in making Bihar self-reliant,” he said and added, “I am satisfied that the NDA got opportunity to build a new confidence among the women. This will play an important role in progress of Bihar.”

Home minister Amit Shah attributed the victory in Bihar to the “double engine” development of the state under the leadership of Modi and state chief minister Nitish Kumar. Modi said youth of Bihar have also given a message that the coming decade belongs to them and it will be the roadmap for the self-reliant Bihar. “The energy of the youth has encouraged the NDA to perform with more commitment,” he added.
