NSG commandos take RE Classic 500 Stealth Black edition for 7000 km expedition
- 15 NSG Commandos are on a 7,000 km expedition around India, on Royal Enfield Stealth 500 motorcycles

FollowCommemorating National Security Guard's 33 years of service to the nation, the NSG commandoes have embarked on a motorcycle expedition.
The Expedition team will traverse major cities of the country including NSG's regional hubs at Gandhinagar, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata to cover a distance of 7000 kms with an objective of spreading a message of collective responsibility towards the fight against terrorism. "Fight Against Terror is the motto of NSG Commando motorcycle expedition team covering 7000 km.
The Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju had flagged off the expedition on September 7 from the NSG campus in Manesar, Haryana.
The crew are using Royal Enfield Classic 500 Stealth Black for the expedition. The Stealth Black edition features blacked out parts, a new swing arm, and a rear disc brake. The motorcycle’s matt-black paint scheme goes well with the NSG Commandos’ all-black outfits.
Coming back to the motorcycle, it is powered by a 500 cc, single cylinder four stroke engine that makes about 27Bhp  and 41 Nm of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox is standard and comes with digital electronic ignition.
