‘Pulsar’ Suni, the main accused in the Mollywood actress rape case, managed to get a mobile and a SIM inside the jail Vishnu, one of the fellow inmate of Suni handed over the cell phone to him It was probably done in the interview room of the jail where there are no metal detectors
The district jail authorities in Kakkanad have launched a probe to find out how ‘Pulsar’ Suni, the main accused in the Mollywood actress rape case, managed to get a mobile and a SIM inside the jail.

Though a section of police officers believe that Vishnu, one of the fellow inmate of Suni handed over the cell phone to him, a top police official said that they suspect the involvement of a third person.
The Hindu quoted an official who said, “We strongly suspect that the phone had been handed over to Suni, who had come to meet Vishnu at the interview room, which has got no metal detectors.” The officials have said that the entire prison complex has only one metal detector.
The jail officials will include a request to the authorities in their final report to install a metal detector in the door leading to the interview room to prevent people who come to meet inmates from handing over banned things in the jail.
Suni allegedly used the phone to call Appunni, a close aide of actor Dileep. Suni has been kept in a single cell in Kakkanad jail where another accused from the case, Sanal, is also held. Vishnu is in Aluva sub-jail.
