Katwa College exam corruption controversy: Investigation committee formed against 3 accused professors
Allegations of corruption have been levelled against 3 professors of Katwa College and an inquiry committee has been formed on the basis of students' allegations. 3 professors, including the head of the department of zoology, were accused. The four-member inquiry committee will submit its investigation report to the college authorities within the next 4months.
An appalling incident took place at Katwa College in East Burdwan. Allegations against college professors for giving high marks in exams by taking money from students. Audio clippings and WhatsApp chats with students have come out in public.
The incident took place in the zoology department of Katwa College. Not only that, but the head of the department was also accused of sending a student pornographic videos and obscene messages. College authorities formed a committee to investigate the incident.

College authorities have been shocked after hearing the allegations against three professors, including the head of the zoology department at Katwa College. The students submitted all the evidence including audio clippings, pornographic videos, screenshots of WhatsApp chats to the college authorities.

Five days after the incident, the college authorities took action against the accused professors. An investigation committee was formed at Katwa College as per the decision of the college management. In addition, the three accused professors have been disqualified from taking any examinations in the college. The four-member inquiry committee will submit its investigation report to the college authorities within the next four months.
