Karnataka: Man attacks minor daughter with hammer in KGF style, video goes viral
A man in Karnataka was in an inebriated state and is said to have been upset over not having sons. He threatened to beat up his daughters just like the fight scenes in the Kannada movie KGF.
FollowHassan: A video of a man attacking his daughter with a hammer, while singing songs of Yash-starrer KGF, is going viral.
According to latest information, the Hassan Police in Karnataka has arrested the father, who was seen assaulting his minor daughter with the hammer.
The incident occurred at Champaknagar in Sakaleshpur, Hassan. The accused is identified as Prashanth, a native of Hassan. He is said to have been in an inebriated state when he assaulted his daughter.
After the video became viral, Hassan Police, under the direction of superintendent of police (SP) Ram Nivas Sepat, started the investigation and arrested Prashanth today.Â
"Police have now arrested Prashant under section 324 of the IPC and various sections of  juvenile justice acts based on the complaint filed by his wife," said SP Sepat.
The complaint also states that Prashant was not happy with his wife and daughters and used to torture them every day.
The video also shows Prashanth telling the daughter that he can hit them just like the fight scenes in the Kannada movie KGF.Â
Prashant is a coffee estate owner and has two daughters. It is said that he was upset over not having any sons.Â
One of the daughters recorded the video of her father attacking her sister and shared it on social media.
