Karnataka: 21-year-old Haveri man rapes and murders mother
A 21-year-old youth from Karnataka’s Haveri district was arrested on Saturday for allegedly raping and murdering his mother. The mother son allegedly had a sexual relationship.
FollowBengaluru: A 21-year-old youth was arrested on Saturday for allegedly raping and murdering his mother at a village under the jurisdiction of Shiggavi police in Karnataka’s Haveri district.
The accused has been identified as Shivappa of Vanahalli. Shivappa has confessed to the crime during interrogation, the police said.
It is reported that the accused was not pleased with his mother's affairs with other men, according to the police.

Based on reports, the victim got into a sexual relationship with her son Shivappa and a few other men after her husband’s death a year ago.
Shivappa was unhappy with her relationship with other men, and asked her to be involved only with him, cutting ties with all other men.
Later, when he discovered that she was continuing her relationships with other men, he allegedly raped and murdered her.
