“None of us exist apart, we are all workers of Trinamool party.

Firhad Hakim made this comment pointing to Suvendu Adhikari.

State Transport Minister Suvendu Adhikari will address a mega rally in Nandigram today (November 10), significantly, not under the Trinamool Congress banner, minus party flags and without portraits of its chief Mamata Banerjee at the venue.

Regarding that rally, Firhad Hakim said, Suvendu Adhikari should hold a rally with the Trinamool Congress.

Trinamool Purba Midnapore chairman and Kanthi MP Sisir, state urban development minister Firhad Hakim, technical education minister Purnendu Bose, TMC Rajya Sabha member Dola Sen and Trinamool Ramnagar MLA Akhil Giri will hold the official public meeting at Nandigram’s Hazrakhali hours after rebel Trinamool leader and transport minister Suvendu Adhikari addresses the Nandigram rally in a “banner-less” show of strength organized by Bhumi Uchhed Pratirodh Committee.

Suvendu Adhikari’s posters are also up in many other districts, Purulia, Nadia, Murshidabad, East Midnapore, with no indication of his association with the Trinamool Congress, or the TMC.

Lately, that's been the pattern at all of Mr Adhikari's rallies fanning rumors of his imminent exit from the Trinamool Congress.

Firhad Hakim didn’t hide his “embarrassment” over the two rallies. “Suvendu is a Trinamool member. He should join the party program. We are where we are because of the party symbol. No one should forget it, “he said.

The official TMC rally was announced on Monday, giving indications that the party isn’t going to give Suvendu a walkover. TMC leader and Suvendu-baiter Abu Sufian is working overtime to pull the maximum crowd from the Kendamari panchayat area.
