Close to 20 people are reportedly dead and over 25 are injured in a tragic accident in Udaipur. The injured have been rushed to the hospital by the local police. 4 of the injured are said to be critical.
In a tragic incident today morning, a bus carrying pilgrims overturned, killing 20 people on the spot and injuring over 25 others. The accident occurred at the Nayla village on the Pratap Nagar-Balicha bypass.

Eyewitnesses said that the video-coach bus first hit two motorcyclists before ramming into the bridge and falling over. According to the Udaipur Times, the Govardhan Vilas police immediately rushed to the spot and took the injured to the hospital. According to reports, the condition of four injured is critical. Police said that the bus driver lost control after he tried to maneuver the bus to save a scooter and motorcycle driver riding in front of the bus. In doing so, the bus lost grip and fell over the bridge. Police is still trying to identify the deceased and the injured.
The bus was carrying pilgrims from Ahmedabad to Haridwar.
