Amit Shah to hold meeting in Medinipur; Suvendu Adhikari likely to join BJP
Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee held a meeting with Shuvendu at Medinipur College ground on December 6. Now, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a meeting at the same place and it is being speculated that former transport minister Suvendu Adhikari might join the BJP on that day.
Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee held a meeting with Shuvendu at Medinipur College ground on December 6. From the meeting, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee spoke out against the BJP by opposing the Agricultural bill.
After Mamata Banerjee’s meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a meeting at the same place in Medinipur. On the day of Shah’s meeting, it is speculated that former transport minister Shuvendu Adhikari will be officially joining the BJP.

At first, it was decided that Amit Shah will hold a meeting with party leaders and workers at the Medinipur Sports Complex on the first day of his visit. It was also decided that there will be a discussion regarding the complaints received from the farmer’s organization. But, on Tuesday (December 15) night, the program suddenly changed.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a meeting at the Midnapore College ground where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had earlier held a meeting. As a result, the Medinipur district leadership has started to work in full swing. They have also started preparations for the meeting.
