A family in Udaipur was left stunned after discovering a five-foot-long cobra coiled up inside their household cooler. The incident unfolded at a house in Balicha village when a family member noticed unusual movement inside the cooler while filling it with water. Suspecting something might be trapped inside, they shone a light into the appliance and were shocked to find a cobra tightly coiled within.
The family immediately alerted the Wild Animal and Nature Rescue Society, prompting a wildlife rescue team to rush to the spot.
A video of the dramatic rescue has since surfaced online, showing a rescuer carefully dismantling the cooler with a screwdriver. As the cover was gradually removed, the large cobra came into view.

The rescuers proceeded with extreme caution and successfully extracted the snake without injuring it. The roughly five-foot-long cobra was then taken away and later released safely in a forested area that night.
The snake had remained concealed inside the cooler until the family member spotted its movement. Their quick thinking and immediate response helped avert what could have been a dangerous encounter.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
