The Indian athletes made India proud by participating in the Tokyo Olympics, as India won seven medals. Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met these athletes on Sunday.

While every Indian is proud of its Olympic athletes, especially the medal winners, so is the Indian government. On the same note, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Indian athletes on Sunday, taking part in the Tokyo Olympics.

Modi also met the wrestling contingent that won a couple of medals, silver (Ravi Kumar Dahiya) and bronze (Bajrang Punia).

Modi presented the Indian men's hockey team with an autographed hockey stick, as the side won the bronze medal, ending India's 41-year-long wait for a medal in the competition.

Shuttler PV Sindhu, who won the bronze this time, also interacted with Modi, while she also presented her twin Olympic medals to date.
