Badminton star Jwala Gutta to tie the knot with Vishnu Vishal on April 22
Jwala Gutta is an Indian badminton player who prominently plays in the doubles format. She is a six-time gold medal winner, with a total of 13 medals in the international circuit. She is currently engaged to South Indian actor Vishnu Vishal, who acts in Tamil movies.

The couple got engaged in September 2020. It would also be the second marriage for both parties, while Gutta happens to be a year elder to Vishal.
Gutta was previously married to former Indian badminton player Chetan Anand in 2005 before getting divorced in 2011. The divorce garnered enough media attention owing to allegations of her dating former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin, which both parties denied.
Vishal had gotten hitched to actor K Natraj's daughter, Rajini Natraj, in 2018, before divorcing in 2018, while they also had a son together. As for the reason for their divorce, it remains unknown to date.
Gutta happens to be a prolific badminton player, representing India on the competitive global stage, winning 13 medals, including six gold medals. She has prominently featured in doubles matches.
Meanwhile, Vishal has had a decent stint as an actor, doing Tamil movies and acting in 16 films so far, with three more in the reckoning. He also had a brief career in cricket, but not at a professional level.
