Tyre Park in Kolkata to showcase artworks from scrap materials
The doors of various parks in Kolkata have been closed for a long time due to COVID-19 pandemic. At such a time, West Bengal Transport Corporation came up with a unique tyre park in the city which is the first-of-its-kind in the country.
<p>The idea behind the park is to convert waste into art. Nothing is waste and anything that is not being used can take the shape of any art form, that is the message with which the unique park is coming up.<br /> </p>

<p>The park is fully made of scrap and defective tyre parts, which were lying as waste for years in the various bus depots of the state.</p>

<p>The Tyre Park is coming up at Esplanade, opposite the Tram control room. The park will have a small cafe, music will provide a little space for people to sit and relax and also enjoy the various craftsmanship made of only tyres.<br /> </p>
