After joining the BJP, Suvendu Adhikari slammed the TMC. He said,” Trinamool Congress humiliated me. Those who humiliated me are now calling me a backstabber. Mamata Banerjee is nobody's mother. There is only one mother and that is 'Bharat Mata'. TMC will lose the 2021 West Bengal polls.”
“I have got a lot of love and respect from BJP as compared to what I have got in TMC. I will fulfil all the wishes of Bengal and its people. I am assuring to all that I am not here to dominate or dictate terms to you. I will work as an ordinary worker of the BJP. BJP will win the 2021 Bengal polls,” he added.
The former TMC MLA, who represented Nandigram constituency in Purba Medinipur district, had resigned from the state cabinet in November.
