Karnataka CET results 2020 declared, results available online at karresults.nic.in
Deputy chief minister CN Ashwathnarayan said that the counselling process will be held online this year considering the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The seat matrix ratio will also remain the same as it was last year.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has ended the long wait of nearly two lakh candidates on Friday by announcing the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) results 2020.
The KEA has released the KCET 2020 results through the KEA's official portal — cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
A total of 1,53,470 students have qualified for engineering seats. The students qualified in other courses are, Agriculture- 1,27,627, Veterinary Sciences- 1,29,666, AYUSH- 1,29,611, Pharma- 1,55,552.
A total of 80 students scored full marks (60 out of 60) in Biology, Chemistry- 3. However, no one scored full marks in Physics and Maths.
"Two candidates who were asymptomatic and COVID-19 positive have bagged good ranks - Rank 214, and Rank 615," Karnataka Dy CM said. 63 Candidates who were positive had taken the exams on July 30, 31.
This year, Rakhistha M RV PUC College, Bangalore has bagged the first rank for engineering. Varun Gowda A B, from Expert PU College, Mangalore bagged the first rank for B.Sc Agriculture in Karnataka CET examination 2020.
