Coronavirus: COVID-19 cases breach 1000-mark in single day in Kerala
A total of 1038 people were confirmed to have contracted COVID-19 in the state on Wednesday
Kerala breached the 1000-mark in number of COVID-19 cases in a single day for the first time
Kerala registered 1038 cases on Wednesday (July 22)
Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said while addressing a press conference said, out of the 1038 cases, 785 cases are due to local transmission
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state crossed 15,000 and touched the 15,032 mark
At present there are 8,818 active COVID-19 cases in the state. 53 among them are in ICU and 9 in ventilator
The Kerala government on Wednesday decided to impose curfew in Ernakulam’s Aluva region from Wednesday night.
The curfew will also be imposed in Aluva Municipality and other 6 panchayats which fall under Aluva region due to the rise in the number of cases of COVID-19
