BJP worker’s father killed by miscreants; party accuses TMC

A BJP worker’s father was killed by suspected TMC goons in Patashpur area of East Medinipur district on Saturday (January 2).  

<p>The name of the BJP worker’s father is Amulya Mondal. He was 80 years old. He died while trying to save his son who was being assaulted by suspected Trinamool supporters.</p>

<p>According to sources, Amulya Mondal’s son Shankar is a BJP worker. He was being beaten brutally when Amulya tried to intervene. &nbsp;The old man was pushed to the ground, and he collapsed unconscious.<br />&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, the TMC has denied all the allegations. TMC leader Piyush Panda claimed Amulya was bed-ridden and died before the alleged incident.</p>
