TMC issues show-cause notice to MLA Prabir Ghoshal
The Trinamool Congress on Tuesday (January 26) issued a show-cause notice to Uttarpara MLA Prabir Ghoshal after his resignation from two party posts.

<p>MLA Prabir Ghoshal had expressed his anger against the party at a press conference on Republic Day. Talking about the complexities of inaugurating a college in the district, he said, “I personally informed the Chief Minister about the whole situation. She also promised to solve the problem.”<br /> </p>

<p>The Uttarpara MLA also complained that no one listened to the Chief Minister. After his remarks, the Trinamool Congress took action against the MLA. A TMC district leader said Mr Ghosal could have sorted out differences with the party instead of going public.<br /> </p>
