Alia Bhatt is one of the most promising actresses of the current generation. The actress has given many successful hits in the past, but the last few months have been very rough for her career.

There are high hopes from her upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, wherein she will play the role of Gangubai, a sex worker turned mafia queen who ruled Kamathipura in Mumbai.

If we look in the past, then 'Kalank' which was supposed to be one of her best performances, got a very mediocre response from the audience. Not just the critics, the film failed to impress almost everyone. It was a major flop, that took a back-turn in Alia's career.

Post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Alia again became the victim of trolling and nepotism, which badly affected her movie 'Sadak2'. The movie's trailer became one of the most disliked videos on Youtube. The storyline of the film and acting also failed to impress many.

Coming back to Gangubai, the trailer has already created a buzz on the internet. The audience has forgotten the nepotism debate and is applauding Alia's acting, body language, expressions and courage to ace such a complicated character.

The film will surely be a game-changer for her and will bring her career back on track; feels the audience who are appreciating her acting and skills in the comment sections, and critics also feel the same.

To add more feathers to her cap, she has SS Rajmouli's RRR. Her look from the film was recently launched. She will be playing the role of Sita in the mythological drama.

The actress also has Brahmastra to her kitty. She will be sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor for the firts time.
