Due to her husband Raj Kundra's arrest, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is going through a rocky patch in life. Last month Raj Kundra was arrested for the production and distribution of pornographic content via his app.
Shilpa and her family were under the constant glare of the press and had been staying away from the spotlight lately following her husband’s arrest. She even stopped going for her dance reality show Super Dancer 4. The actress is one of the judges on the show and is not seen on the set post-Raj Kundra's arrest.
Latest reports suggest that Shilpa might soon make her first public appearance post-Raj's arrest for a Covid-19 relief fundraiser.
According to reports, Shilpa will be joined by pop singer Ed Sheeran and Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg. A few Bollywood celebs will also be the part of the event like Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan for the virtual event, titled ‘We For India: Saving Lives, Protecting Livelihoods’, which will take place on August 15.
Rajkummar Rao will host the show will be stream on Facebook starting Sunday evening. Will be a 3 hours videothon will be used to provide types of equipment such as oxygen concentrators, cylinders, ventilators, essential medicines, and ICU units amid the crisis.
On the other hand, Shilpa is also facing some new legal trouble. According to reports, Shilpa and mother Sunanda Shetty have been reportedly booked in an alleged fraud case in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Reports also suggest that one team of Lucknow police will soon be arriving in Mumbai to question Shilpa and her mother in the alleged fraud case in the name of a wellness centre.
