You might remember the 2006 film Namastey London starring Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar. It is one of the most-loved films of the actress, but do you know during the shooting of this film  Kaif invited backlash and controversy?

It was in 2006 when she was cast opposite Akshay Kumar. The actress went to Ajmer Sharif Dargah in a short skirt. Her dressing sense to the Dargah invited massive controversy.

Her outfit did not go down well with the religious group and communities who governed the place. Katrina had no idea that her short skirt will invite such serious falk.

The authorities that governed the place also demanded legal action against the director, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, for disrespecting the religion. Katrina had also received a notice from the Dargah committee for wearing knee-length to the holy shrine.

Post the incident, Katrina visited Dargah several times but only after earning Indian attires. Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will be seen in Phone Bhoot, Tiger 3 and Sooryavansham.
