Katrina Kaif revealed a big secret about her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Though Ranbir has not commented on this yet, the actress's allegation was enough to make fans drop their jaws in shock.

For many years, Katrina Kaif, who was not on social media, took the plunge into Instagram in 2017. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she joined social media only after learning every little detail about how it worked.

Now the actress has 45M followers, and her fans can't stop drooling over her pictures from her beach vacations which she never fails to share.

On Arbaaz Khan's chat show Pinch, Kat revealed that it was her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor who introduced her to Instagram.

On the show, when Arbaaz Khan asked Katrina if she had another account on Instagram to stalk people, the actress said no.

Kat, however, revealed that Ranbir has a fake Instagram account. The actress said, "I know Ranbir has (a fake Instagram account). It was Ranbir who showed me in person how Instagram works." Ranbir and Katrina broke up in 2016 after dating for seven years.

According to media reports, Katrina opened up about her breakup and said, "I had to break up before I could proceed to rebuild myself. I had to unravel and feel everything that had happened. I had to take full responsibility for my part in the equation, what I could and should have done better and accept that the parts that I was not responsible for were not my problem."

Adding to her statement, Kat said, "I have always been emotional. I'm a Cancerian and a sensitive soul. I'm not going to lose that or change that for anyone. But what I have learnt from parting ways with Ranbir is as a woman, you must protect and maintain your identity. Your sense of self-worth comes from within and not from another person. You come into this world alone, and you leave alone. That's something you should not lose sight of. I'm not saying be guarded in love. No, love with all your heart. Being in a relationship is beautiful. I have a lot to give to a person, but I know now that nobody else gives you your identity."

Katrina calls her breakup with Ranbir "a blessing because I was able to recognise my patterns, thought processes and things that I had been so sure of my whole life. I could see them from a whole different perspective."
