Kajol had a crush on Akshay Kumar and was looking at him at the entire premier, and I was her support then. So we both were looking at him during the entire event."

"While we did not find Akshay, but it was the start of our friendship," as mentioned by Karan Johar in the show.

"We both stayed in South Mumbai, and that's where our friendship developed further," he further quoted.
