Vidya Balan was shooting in the dense forest of Madhya Pradesh for Sherni. And, as per the reports, she received a dinner invitation from Minister Vijay Shah, though he denied the report.
She was not feeling comfortable, which is why she turned it down, and that affected their shooting procedure as they were stranded in the middle of a dense forest.
According to ANI, "Vehicles of the production team of actor Vidya Balan's upcoming movie were allegedly stopped from entering a forest for shooting. As per various media reports, it happened a day after the actor turned down Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah's invitation for dinner".
Though Shah claimed the opposite of this statement, he said that he received an invitation from the actress, Vidya Balan and her team and it was he who turned down the request. He said, "Was there(Balaghat)on request from those who took permission for the shoot & requested me for lunch/dinner. I said not possible now, I'll meet them when I go to Maharashtra".
He also added that it was the invitation that was cancelled not the dinner.
