Sushant Sigh Rajput
On June 14, 2020, Dil Bechara actor Sushant Singh Rajput left all his fans behind and committed suicide at his Bandra Apartment. He started his acting career with television serial Pavitra Rishta and then debuted in films with Kai Po Che. He has given some great performances in his lifetime.
Irrfan Khan
One of the most versatile actors of Bollywood left us on April 29, 2020. Irrfan Khan had neuroendocrine tumour since 2018. A week before his death, he was diagnosed with colon infection. He was admitted in Kokilaben hospital, and his health deteriorated. He breathed his last.
Rishi Kapoor
He was battling with leukaemia for two years and then on April 30, he took his last breath and left all of us in shock. He was one of the finest actors and belonged to the Kapoor clan. He debuted with Bobby and then went along giving hits after hits in his film career.
Saroj Khan
Legendary dancer, choreographer Saroj Khan died due to cardiac arrest at 71 on July 3, 2020. She has given Bollywood some of the best dance numbers like Ek Do Teen, Channe Ke Khet, Choli Ke Peeche Kya hai, etc.
Chiranjeevi Sarja
Chiranjeevi Sarja, a Kannada film actor, died at a private hospital in Bengaluru due to cardiac arrest at 39. He took his last breath on June 7, 2020.
Wajid Khan
Music director, singer duo Sajid-Wajid saved a special seat in Bollywood with their music. They have given hits like Dabangg, Wanted, etc. Between the brothers, Wajid Khan was Covid-19 positive and was fighting the disease. But, lost the battle at 42, on June 1 2020, due to cardiac arrest.
SP Balasubrahmanyam
SP Balasubrahmanyam, a legendary playback singer, got affected by the dangerous virus Covid-19. He fought bravely, but his health backed off, and he passed away on September 26, 2020. He has sung over 16 languages and has won National Award six times.
Asif Basra
Asif was found dead in a private complex on November 12. He committed suicide, and his case has still been under investigation.
Sameer Sharma
Television actor Sameer Sharma committed suicide on August 6. The 44-year actor is known for his roles in KYunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Soumitra Chatterjee
Bengali's Feluda and the legend Soumitra Chatterjee was admitted in hospital because he was tested positive for Covid-19. Though, after 40 days of battling, he was tested negative, his health started deteriorating, and he was admitted once again. During the second time, his health couldn't bear the medicines, and he breathed his last.
Bhanu Athaiya
Costume Designer Bhanu won India's first Oscars for costume designing in Gandhi. She has worked on many films including Shaheb Biwi Aur Ghulam, Chandni, Laagan, 1942: A Love Story. She had a brain tumour and was fighting with the disease for eight years. She was paralysed and passed away at the age of 91, on October 15.
Abhishek Makwana
Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chasma writer Abhishek committed suicide on November 27, 2020. He was found hanging.
Jagdeep
Yesteryear actor Jagdeep Jafri died on July 9, 2020. He was 81 years old. He would forever be remembered for his role Soorma Bhopali in Sholay.
