In Kerala, an event management company complained against the actress for not attending Valentine's day affair back in 2019, but they paid her 29 lakhs for appearing there.
In defence of which, Sunny said that she visited the place twice, but the event was postponed to a different date. She further mentioned that the event management company hadn't given her rest of the 12 lakhs from what they assured to give. Her statement has been recorded by the Kochi crime branch.
Police sources stated to PTI, "A case of cheating under Section 420 of IPC has been registered against the actor based on a complaint and we are yet to verify facts."
This is not the first time that the actress has faced some kind of violation. Previously she was attacked by a journalist on television with weird and controversial questions.
