Sonu Sood helps struggling Mumbai man who fixed Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli’s bats
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been helping people during the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown. Be it the migrant labourers, students stuck abroad, people who have lost jobs and others who are in distress have been taken care of by Sonu. And, he continues to help people from all walks of life. The latest is Ashraf Chaudhary (Ashraf bhai) who fixed bats for Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and others.
Ashraf is battling health issues and is admitted in a hospital. This was reported by Indian Express newspaper.
He is finding it tough to raise funds for his treatment. “His situation is not good. There was some kidney stone-related problem, which has resurfaced again and there are other complications too. The lockdown means his business took a major hit as cricket has completely come to standstill in the city. He doesn’t have funds; whatever he has, it’s over,” a well-wisher Prashant Jethmalani told the newspaper.
So far, none of the cricketers have come forward to help him.
Ashraf was a regular during international and IPL matches in Mumbai.
Also, he has fixed bats for cricketers without taking money.
A Twitter user shared Ashraf’s story and Sonu responded to it.
Seeing the plight of Ashraf, Sonu asked netizens to find his address.
