In a throwback chat with Filmfare, Deepika Padukone revealed the first time she met the love of her life, Ranveer Singh.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh dated for six years before the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy. The couple is one of the most loved celeb pairs in the country, and fans love their chemistry and PDA moments.

Deepika Padukone once appeared in an interview with Jitesh Pillai for Filmfare. The interview was held post her marriage, and the actress answered all the questions gracefully.

When Jitesh asked about the first time she met Ranveer, Deepika said, "I met him at an award function in Singapore."

Answering about the first time she felt he was special, she said, "We were at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house, and we were getting cast for Ram Leela, there was a crab stuck in my tooth, and he went like, 'Oh there is a crab stuck in your tooth', and I said 'Take it out."

She further said, "That moment was very special, and I don't think the three could ever forget that". On the work front, both will be seen in 83 together post-Padmavaat.
