Janhvi Kapoor is not bothered with her double chin or weight gain; here's what the actress said

Janhvi Kapoor garnered alot of appreciation for her latest film Roohi, here's what she revealed about herself in an interview with Etimes.

Last night Janhvi Kapoor was spotted at the airport as she was leaving for the US to meet her younger sister Khushi Kapoor. She opted for a black crop top and comfy joggers and paired them with a black blazer. She wore tinted glasses and kept her hair open looked fresh and beautiful as always.

After getting congratulatory success messages for Roohi, Janhvi Kapoor spoke to the Etimes. While talking about the paparazzi and their impact, she said, "To be honest, their cameras haven't come dangerously close to me. At least, as far as I am concerned, they have been pretty nice and understanding. If, on a couple of occasions I have told them to not take my picture, they have complied. Actually, they are a kind lot. We need to respect their profession. As much as they need to click our pictures, we need them to do that because they help us to reach our audience."

When asked whether she is a vanity freak, the actress replied, "No, I am not a vanity freak. In fact, in my latest shoot of 'Good Luck Jerry' in Punjab, I tended to eat so much that I got a double chin and my DOP had to change camera angles. I don't brood over such things. I don't bother if I gain weight. But yes, I am bothered when it comes to performance."

Do film reviews affect the Dhadak actress? Janhvi said honestly, "Yes, film reviews do matter to me. I read them and take the criticism constructively. That matters to me more than the compliments. But I also come to know if someone has written with vendetta in mind. I have reached a stage where I can filter honest opinions from vindictive ones. A person knows his limitations and what he/she needs to work on."

How is her relationship with father Boney Kapoor? Janhvi stated, "He has become a very close friend. A very new equation has developed between him and me. Today, I can talk to him about everything." 

Janhvi and Boney both were spotted together at the airport yesterday. Boney came to see her off. He was seen helping his daughter get her luggage packed.
