Both Women Need To Earn Their Opportunities Properly

Some WWE stars confront champions and receive automatic title shots. Cody Rhodes did it against CM Punk for SummerSlam. Charlotte Flair and Randy Orton do this regularly because WWE views them as above qualifying matches. Becky Lynch falls into that same category but hasn't competed since May. Her star power remains undeniable.

However, winning a number one contender's match would make logical sense. Vaquer was the former Women's World Champion and had to fight before earning a rematch. Since both women want the same thing, they should face the same process for a title opportunity.

WWE Prefers A One-On-One Lynch vs. Morgan Showdown

Becky Lynch ranks among wrestling's top stars regardless of gender. She cuts excellent promos and elevates every opponent she faces. Her feuds with Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, and Sol Ruca prove this. Liv Morgan has clearly become one of Triple H's favorites.

That explains why she retained the title at SummerSlam in her first defense since defeating Vaquer at WrestleMania 42. Officials may prefer to save Lynch vs. Morgan as a standalone attraction for a major PLE like Money in the Bank or WarGames.

WWE Is Finally Paying Off The Vaquer Rematch

The rematch was planned after the title swap at WrestleMania 42, but Vaquer suffered an injury that postponed the feud. Morgan went over 100 days without defending the Women's World Championship once.

This became an ongoing joke, especially since she made the Queen of the Ring finals. Several women could have challenged in the interim, including Lyra Valkyria, IYO SKY, and Bayley. Since another Vaquer vs. Morgan match was always the direction, WWE officials likely want to complete that program before involving Lynch.

Major PLE Payoff Makes More Strategic Sense

The next live event after SummerSlam is Sunday Night's Main Event, with Money in the Bank arriving on October 10th. That PLE is game-changing, and booking title matches creates cash-in opportunities. The Vaquer vs. Morgan rematch belongs on a bigger stage.

Placing it on regular RAW suggests possible interference from Rodriguez and Perez or even Becky Lynch costing Vaquer. A triple threat match at Money in the Bank makes perfect sense. It would remove two former winners from the ladder match and position Vaquer as a favorite for the 2027 Royal Rumble if she loses. Most major programs consist of three showdowns, making Lynch the perfect third act.
