Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh shared that when TikTok was banned in India, he was unemployed until Instagram introduced Reels.
Riteish Deshmukh is quite active on social media and is seen sharing funny and lovey-dovey videos with his wife, actress Genelia D’Souza. The couple are currently busy hosting a unique show called Ladies Vs Gentlemen 2, which is streaming on Flipkart Video.

In an interview with Mashable India, the actor said that when TikTok was banned, he thought he was out of a job, and one day, Instagram introduced Reels.

The actor said with some humor, “I started using TikTok, and when it was banned in India, I was momentarily unemployed. I thought, ‘Oh God, what do I do now? I have no work anymore. But I was glad when Reels was introduced."
Riteish added by saying that they started making videos during the lockdown, and it was a time when everyone went through challenging times. So the couple Riteish and Genelia thought, ‘Let’s give them a reason to smile," Hence they started cracking jokes, and people started enjoying it.
On the work front, Riteish has some projects, including Plan A Plan B and Visfot. He will also be seen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy film Kakuda with Sonakshi Sinha.
