Did Prabhas stop co-star Anushka Shetty from getting married? Here's the truth

Long back, there were rumours and reports post-Baahubali success that Prabhas dated Anushka Shetty and stopped Anushka from getting married.

Prabhas and Anushka Shetty's chemistry as Amarendra Baahubali and Devsena in Baahubali 2 was loved by many. They have done many Telugu films like Mirchi, Billa etc earlier and became one of the most popular on-screen couples in the south entertainment industry. 

Post Baahubali success, many reports suggest that Anushka Shetty and Prabhas' allegedly in a relationship and soon will get married. However, the actors regularly rubbished the news stating both are very good friends.  

In an interview, Anushka Shetty had revealed her equation with Prabhas, where she said, "Prabhas is one of my 3 AM friends.” Long back, there was a report that suggested that the Saaho actor had once stopped Anushka Shetty from getting married.

According to many reports, during the Baahubali (1 and 2) shooting, which took more than 5 years, Prabhas had allegedly asked Anushka Shetty to focus on SS Rajamouli's film. It was said that during that time, Anushka was all set to marry, and her wedding arrangements were in full swing. 

We all know Prabhas has spent more than 5 years working, dedicated his career and life to making the Baahubali franchise a success. However, both, Anushka and Prabhas have never talked about the same ever and 

In an old interview, when Anushka was asked about her marriage with Prabhas, she answered, “Prabhas and I are not getting married. Please do not expect Baahubali and Devasena-like chemistry in real life. It is only for the screen.”

But for Anushka's mother Prafulla Shetty, Prabhas will be a perfect partner for her daughter. Prafulla once said, “They both are stars and have acted together. I would love to get Prabhas like Mr Perfect for Anushka but they are just good friends. Stop spreading rumours about their marriage.”
