Bollywood thanks frontline workers after Akshay Kumar's #DilSe Thank You call
The COVID-19 outbreak has wreaked havoc worldwide, taking many lives and affecting several others.
The entire country is caught up in lockdown and while we are at our homes, doctors, nurses, police force, cleaners, grocery store owners amongst other warriors are serving people to the best of their capabilities. Several Bollywood actors followed Akshay Kumar’s call to acknowledge the contribution of all essential workers during the lockdown period with the hashtag ‘#DilSe Thank you’.
Shilpa Shetty, on behalf of her entire family, thanked all the police, BMC workers, medical staff etc. who were involved in the coronavirus war.
Sonakshi Sinha thanked all the people in the frontline in her recent post. Along with a picture, she wrote, "While we are in the safety of our homes waiting for this phase to pass, doctors, healthcare workers, the police force, essential service providers, volunteers & government officials are leading the battle against Corona. Here is a #DilSeThankYou to all of them for taking care of us".
