BJP MP makes bizarre remarks on Aamir Khan, 'At the age of becoming grandfather, he is looking for third wife'
BJP MP Sudhir Gupta has sparked a controversy with his unprecedented remark about Aamir Khan accusing the actor of the population imbalance in the country.
BJP MP Sudhir Gupta from Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur has sparked a controversy by reportedly saying that people like Aamir Khan are behind the population imbalance.
On the occasion of World Population Day, which was on July 11 Sudhir said that at the age of becoming a grandfather, Aamir is looking for a third wife.
In an interview with CNN-News 18, the BJP leader said, "Aamir Khan left his first wife Reena Dutta with two children, Kiran Rao with one child and now, at the age of becoming grandfather, he is looking for a third wife."
"Those who claim that people like Khan have no brains for job other than selling eggs' were correct," he added.
“It’s ironical that people like Aamir Khan have a role to play in population imbalance in the country,” said Gupta
BJP leader was taking a dig at the Bollywood superstar who recently separated from his second wife Kiran Rao.
Aamir and Kiran, recently announced their divorce in a statement issued to the press. The statement read, "In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other."
