Rishabh Pant is celebrating his 23rd birthday on Sunday. Currently, he is busy representing Delhi Capitals in the ongoing Indian Premier League. Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh would be coming back to domestic cricket following his retirement from international cricket last year.
Rishabh Pant is one of the fast-rising cricketers in Indian cricket, as he is a fine wicketkeeper-batsman. On Sunday, he has been celebrating his 23rd birthday, while former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh sent out a hilarious birthday wish for him.
Pant is currently busy playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with Delhi Capitals, as he is celebrating it with his teammates, away from home. Nonetheless, there has been no shortage of fun.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj sent out an Instagram post, with a picture of both travelling. The post was hilariously captioned, "Jiska naam hai Pant lekin harkatein hain nikkar waali... (Whose name is Pant, but works like someone in shorts) Wishing you a very Happy Birthday @rishabpant. Stay safe and have a successful IPL buddy."
As of now, Pant is yet to reply on the post. Meanwhile, other than Yuvi, his girlfriend, Isha Negi, too, had posted a series of three lovely pictures on Instagram, wishing him on his birthday.
Besides, the International Cricket Council (ICC), too, wished Pant on his birthday, on Twitter, as the post read, "57 international appearances, 1598 runs, Five fifty-plus scores Test centuries in England and Australia. Happy birthday to young India star Rishabh Pant!"
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also posted a video link of him on Twitter and captioned, "Wishing #TeamIndia wicketkeeper-batsman @RishabhPant17 a very happy birthday. Let’s rewind the clock and revisit his match-winning half-century against West Indies."
Pant played a huge role on Saturday night, as his 17-ball 38 allowed DC to register an 18-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Pant has, so far, scored 134 runs in four innings at a conventional average of 44.66, this season.
