Team India was on top form as it triumphed over South Africa by seven wickets in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday. With this success, the hosts have clinched the series 2-1 and have had a record year in international cricket. The star of this match was chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who clutched a four-for to push the visiting batters onto the backfoot, dismantling them for a paltry 99, making the win look much more remarkable for the Men in Blue. However, the 27-year-old is not thinking too ahead and is focusing on the process and his rhythm.

After winning the Man of the Match award, Kuldeep recorded, "Feeling very happy, to be honest. Getting the Player of the Match award, the wicket was perfect, and I am enjoying my bowling. I am not overthinking the result. Just focusing on the process and my rhythm. I am trying to bowl in good areas. Not overthinking, my next target is to perform well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament."

After the South African innings, Kuldeep said, "Feeling happy to take four wickets, have taken four wickets after such a long time. I tried something different before IPL and have enjoyed my bowling since then. I missed the hat-trick and could have bowled quicker. I should have changed the angle."

"I think Washington bowled well. The wicket was gripping. I tried to bowl seam-up deliveries, mix it up with the pace and set up the batters. I was working on my rhythm. I was a bit slower before my injury. I am not compromising with spin, just trying to work on my rhythm," added Kuldeep.
