On Wednesday, no significant changes were made as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 15-member Indian women's squad for the ACC T20 Championship 2022, which will be conducted in Bangladesh between October 1-15. India retained the team that recently toured England in the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series, while Taniyaa Bhatia and Simran Bahadur have been put on standby. Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the six-time champion, India. It will get its campaign underway against Sri Lanka on the opening day before squaring off against arch-rival Pakistan on October 7. The duo was a part of the 17-member squad that toured England. However, they hardly got any game time.
