Alibaba founder and billionaire Jack Ma is believed to be missing. And that too since October 24 when he made his scathing remarks about the Chinese business model.

Jack Ma's absence from public events since has raised eyebrows. The Alibaba founder even missed his scheduled appearance in the final episode of his own talent show, Africa’s Business Heroes.

An Alibaba spokesperson, however, clarified that Jack Ma was unable to join the judging panel "due to a schedule conflict".

But the fact that Jack Ma photograph was removed from the judging panel's webpage and that he was left out of a promotional video seems to indicate that there's more than that meets the eye.

Ma's Twitter profile hasn't seen any activity since October 10 either.
